Account Deletion
Last updated 27 August 2026
You can delete your Zoper account at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.
1. How to delete your account
- In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm with the code sent to your phone number.
- By email: if you can't access the app, write to privacy@zoper.co from a way we can verify you, and we'll process it manually.
2. What happens next
- Your account is deactivated immediately — you can no longer sign in and your profile is no longer visible to anyone.
- Within 30 days, personal data (name, phone number, saved places, profile photo) is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
- Any active Pick & Drop subscription is cancelled as part of deletion.
3. What we must keep
Some records are kept longer where the law requires it or where they are needed to resolve disputes — for example trip records involved in an open complaint, records of fraud, or financial records subject to statutory retention. These are kept only as long as legally necessary and never used for anything else.
4. Drivers
Driver accounts follow the same process. Verification documents are deleted on the same 30-day schedule, subject to the same legal retention exceptions.
5. Changing your mind
Deletion is permanent once processed. If you return to Zoper later, you'll start with a fresh account — trip history and ratings do not carry over.
